Muslimah Fitness: Keep your head up

Hi Sisters! The most important thing you can do to stay beautiful and confident is to keep your fitness in check.

I run. To stay strong and stay in shape. One of the best advice I've received about running is in the form of a question. This is it: 'Do you know why you should not look down in the middle of the run even when you are really tired?'

Keeping your head up at all times until you stop your run actually has a lot to do with keeping your posture in the correct position for optimal breathing. The wrong head position will change your posture and reduces the amount you inhale and exhale. The right head position will allow your body to get the most air in and out whilst running. Therefore, you should always keep your head up —keep your eyes on the horizon.
